Social Enterprise
What is Social Enterprise?
Our Social Enterprise program is our non-funded service stream that caters to our clients who aren’t eligible for government funding through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) or the NDIS. Clients of this program include recipients of a home care package or individuals who do not meet the CHSP eligibility criteria – such as those looking to future-proof their home who are not yet frail aged – as well as home care package providers, businesses and more.
Some business types that Scope Home Access has worked with, installing ramps, handrails and grabrails at entrances and in bathrooms, are:
- Churches
- Independent schools
- Community centres
- Community museums
- Health centres
- Trade/commercial centres
As a not-for-profit organisation, income from this stream of services is redirected back into the organisation to allow us to grow and reach more people, as well as ensure continuity of services for those clients who need our services the most. This means that an investment in your home modifications is also an investment in your community.
What are the benefits of receiving services through the Social Enterprise stream?
Funded services are in high demand and accessing these services may mean being placed on a waitlist. Social Enterprise services are generally not subject to this waitlist, meaning your modifications may be installed sooner.
